Today's message is short and sweet and comes from my 3 year-old son. This morning he and I were picking up a few things at the grocery store. He was sitting in the cart, making suggestions about the groceries we needed to buy.
As we did our shopping, I pushed him through the dairy section, the meat section, the produce section and past the floral department.
It was at that point that he said:
"Stop Dad! Back up!"
I asked him why and his exact words were:
"We need to stop and smell the flowers."
(I'm not making this up - that was a direct quote!)
He has never heard the cliché about smelling the roses - he just knows how to live life fully in the present moment!
As soon as he learns to type, I'm letting him write these Mindful Moments!
ENJOY NOW!
