Who owns
your life?
Hang on a minute - don't dismiss that question
too quickly! Please give it some serious
consideration.
It's your life, but who owns it?
Some people might say "God".
Some might hang their head and say "my boss" or
"my company", or even "the bank" or "MasterCard".
Others might say "ME! I own my life!"
Now I want you to reflect on the self-talk that
constantly runs through your head. Do you find that
you are often blaming others for any "negative" circumstances that may arise in your life?
Your spouse. Your kids. Your relatives. Your
in-laws. The government. The economy.
Or perhaps your self-talk is filled with events
from the past that you use to explain any "negative" circumstances.
A childhood trauma. A broken home. An abusive
relationship.
Each and every time that we look outside of
ourselves for the cause of our circumstances we are
giving away power and control over our lives.
My Mortality
Manifesto is designed to help you put that power
firmly back in your hands. Of course,
there's a catch! Along with that power comes
responsibility. If you want power and ownership of
your life, then you must accept the responsibility
that comes along with it.
And THAT is the truly exciting part of the
Manifesto. It empowers you to take ownership of
your life and responsibility for your thoughts,
words and actions. Regardless of how you answered
my initial question and regardless of what sort of
past events you've been through, you need to begin
to take ownership of your life NOW. Because that's
when the fun and excitement begin!
ENJOY NOW!

If you are not satisfied with the
direction your life is taking, it is your responsibility, and yours alone, to take action towards a more fulfilling future.
