MINDFUL MOMENT
2005 05 08 - Today
Today is Mother's Day. A day when we all take time to stop and recognize all that our mothers have done for us. We say the things that too often go unsaid during our daily rush.
Tomorrow marks the five year anniversary of my father's death.
My message to you today is simple: None of us know how long our loved ones will be with us. So let's make every day Mother's Day. And Father's Day. And brother's, sister's, spouse's, son's, daughter's and friend's day.
I love you mom!
I love you too dad! I miss you and think of you often!
ENJOY NOW!

We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast, but when we say this we imagine that hour as placed in an obscure and distant future. It never occurs to us that it has any connection with the day already begun or that death could arrive this same afternoon, this afternoon which is so certain and which has every hour filled in advance.
