MINDFUL MOMENT 2004 07 18 - Don't Put It Off My wife and I spent our Saturday taking a course on CPR and first aid for infants and toddlers. Our son is turning two in August and this is something we'd wanted to learn ever since he was born. I'll bet that half of you reading this are saying: "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?? YOUR SON IS ALMOST TWO!" I'll bet the other half are saying: "Hmmm - I'VE always said I should learn CRP and first aid." We can all think of things we *ought* to do, but which just don't seem pressing enough to deal with at any given time. The list could go on and on. Generally speaking, we put these things off because they can be unpleasant to think about. We allow ourselves to fall into the trap of believing that there will always be enough time to "get around to it". Given a choice between spending a nice sunny
day: This week I want you to ask yourself two
